Piano Ensemble Programme:
Tea for Two
(Registration for the 2026 edition is now open!)
This is a PIANO ENSEMBLE PROGRAMME for pre-formed ensembles of all ages and levels. This will be opened to the public. Students who are not under The Music Studios' programme are welcomed to sign up as well.
A TWO MONTH LONG PROGRAMME where duos explore 4-HAND, 2-PIANO AND TRIO LITERATURE through guided rehearsals with their primary teacher during usual lesson times. Repertoire will be assigned to each duo if there is no preferred piece in mind.
Duos will be coached by Dr. Khoo Hui Ling and Ms. Yee Yun Ying in a PIANO ENSEMBLE MASTERCLASS.
These rehearsals and coachings culminate in a LIVE CONCERT.
Working with a partner is a fun way of engaging with music whilst learning about TEAMWORK. Families are highly encouraged to enroll as a parent-child/sibling duo as it is a unique FAMILY BONDING ACTIVITY.
FEES and DEADLINES
Public fee: $85/ensemble
TMS students: $72/ensemble, after a 15% discount
Register by 20 October 2026. Vacancies are limited and based on a first come first served basis.
VENUES, DATES and TIMINGS
October - November 2025: Coachings with the primary teacher will be held at the teacher's studio.
22 November 2026, between 2-6pm: Masterclasses at the studio of Teacher Hui Ling (2 min from Beauty World MRT Station). Duos will be allocated a 30-45 minute slot.
29 November 2026, 3.15-4.15pm: Live recital at VOS Capitol Studios.
