Music Appreciation Programmes:

Tales with Tunes & Composers over Coffee

  • TALES WITH TUNES and COMPOSERS OVER COFFEE are music appreciation programmes for 4-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds respectively.

  • Participants will gain CRUCIAL LISTENING EXPOSURE to well-loved classics outside of their usual repertoire, igniting a child’s curiosity about the world of music.

  • Age appropriate INTERACTIVE AND IMPROVISATORY ACTIVITIES are specially designed to develop a discerning ear.

  • Parents will be involved, creating opportunities for MEANINGFUL MUSICAL CONVERSATIONS with their child.

  • This is a  PUBLIC PROGRAMME; we welcome students who are not currently enrolled with The Music Studios. ​

The next edition of these programmes will be in 2027.

At Tales with Tunes 2023, a furious swarm of bees chased these kids down Bukit Timah Hill. But all ended well as our guest Teacher Keane, with a re-worded version of Schubert’s ‘Gretchen at the Spinning Wheel’, led the children to safety!
