Student Achievements in
Competitions and Examinations
The hard work of our teachers and students have been recognized with top awards at distinguished competitions and festivals such as the National Piano and Violin Competition (Singapore), Singapore Performers’ Festival, and the Steinway Youth Piano Competition.
When it comes to examinations, students have scored consistently well in ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabi. With select students, we have challenged them to prepare for the examinations independently based on skills and concepts previously taught. We are proud that these students have attained distinctions, a testament to our commitment to instil critical thinking and problem solving skills instead of simply hitting the right notes!

Recitals
Twice a year, we organize recitals for our students to showcase their efforts. Our students encouraged to regularly perform at external events to build their performance exposure too. Over the years, they have graced the stages of Victoria Concert Hall, Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music amongst others.

Masterclasses
Masterclasses are conducted at least twice a year for all Music Studios’ students. In this safe place, they not only learn to listen and critique each other with discretion, but also to build their confidence and composure in public presentation.
We also host prominent pianists in a series called Musical Encounters, where they work with and mentor our advanced pianists.
Pathways into the Future
Less than a decade since we began, we are excited to witness our students’ musical journeys beyond our studios. Our students have gained entry into musical institutions such as the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (degree programme). They have also participated in summer music festivals locally and internationally, such as the Yong Siew Toh Young Pianists’ Academy and the International Maestro Piano Festival in Taiwan!

Creative Projects
In our studios, creativity meets craft. Our students have embarked on all sorts of musical projects and side explorations over the years, from duet playing to music videos, improvisation to song writing, supported and guided by our teachers. For us, this is a huge stamp of encouragement that we are igniting musical curiosity in our students.
