Piano Ensemble Programme:

Tea for Two

  • This is a PIANO ENSEMBLE PROGRAMME for pre-formed ensembles of all ages and levels. This will be opened to the public. Students who are not under The Music Studios' programme are welcomed to sign up as well.


  • A  TWO MONTH LONG PROGRAMME where duos explore 4-HAND, 2-PIANO AND TRIO LITERATURE through guided rehearsals with their primary teacher during usual lesson times. Repertoire will be assigned to each duo if there is no preferred piece in mind.

  • Duos will be coached by Dr. Khoo Hui Ling and Ms. Yee Yun Ying in a PIANO ENSEMBLE MASTERCLASS. 

  • These rehearsals and coachings culminate in a LIVE CONCERT.​


  • Working with a partner is a fun way of engaging with music whilst learning about TEAMWORK. Families are highly encouraged to enroll as a parent-child/sibling duo as it is a unique FAMILY BONDING ACTIVITY.

Some post-PSLE fun with Teacher Hui Ling and student Waverly Sia, in their first reading of Ravel's Ma mère l'Oye for the Tea for Two Duet Programme in 2025. It's such a satisfying journey when the little ones we teach mature and become our musical partners!
