MUSIC APPRECIATION PROGRAMME:
Tales with Tunes & Composers over Coffee
- Spend this year's Children's Day weekend exploring the theme of rain in music through PERFORMANCES, STORYTELLING and HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES!
- Tales with Tunes, held at 1-3pm on Sunday, 6 October 2024, will be for 4-7 year olds, and suitable for total beginners.
- The activities will help stir the imagination of our little ones as they LEARN BASIC ELEMENTS OF MUSIC through play.
- It is a PRELUDE TO OUR KINDERBOOGIE PROGRAMME.
- Composers Over Coffee, held at 4-6pm on Sunday, 6 October 2024, will be for 8-12 year olds who have some musical background.
- Fun-filled activities challenge students to LISTEN ACTIVELY and CREATIVELY to various and more complex elements of music.
- Both sessions will have INTERACTIVE AND IMPROVISATORY ACTIVITIES specially designed to develop a discerning ear.
- Both are PUBLIC PROGRAMMES; we welcome students who are not currently enrolled with The Music Studios.
Please note that this is a live event and all participants are to be accompanied by one parent.
Both programmes will be held at the studio of Dr. Khoo Hui Ling, located near Beauty World MRT station.

Programme fees for public students: $60 / parent-child duo
TMS students are entitled to a 25% discount: $45 / parent-child duo
Vacancies are limited. Registration is open from now till 29 Sep 2024, on a first come first served basis.
