MUSIC APPRECIATION ​PROGRAMME:
Composers over Coffee 


  • This is a programme for 8-12 YEAR OLDS who have some musical background.

  • Participants will gain CRUCIAL LISTENING EXPOSURE to well-loved classics outside of their usual repertoire by Grieg!

  • Interactive listening activities will push students to COMPARE RECORDINGS BY FAMOUS PIANISTS, LISTEN DEEPLY, THINK CRITICALLY and FORM THEIR OWN MUSICAL INTERPRETATIONS.

  • Parents will be involved, creating opportunities for MEANINGFUL MUSICAL CONVERSATIONS with their child.

  • This is a  PUBLIC PROGRAMME; we welcome students who are not currently enrolled with The Music Studios. ​

Please note that this is a live event and all participants are to be accompanied by one parent.

The programme will be held at the studio of Dr. Khoo Hui Ling, located near Beauty World MRT station.

​Programme fees for public students: $60 / parent-child duo
TMS students are entitled to a $20 discount: $40 / parent-child duo

Vacancies are limited. Registration is open from now till 12 March 2026, on a first come first served basis.
