- Mentored by Dr. Khoo Hui Ling, this year-long study group is catered to piano teachers aiming to take the Teaching DipABRSM for piano in early 2022, or who are simply interested in enhancing their pedagogical skills and knowledge.
- The programme will prepare teachers for all aspects of the Teaching DipABRSM for piano examination:
- DEMONSTRATION AND INTERPRETATION - design performance interpretations of chosen works with confidence and independence
- VIVA VOCE - gain knowledge and eloquence in various areas of piano pedagogy
- QUICK STUDY - learn to efficiently deconstruct a piece and construct a convincing interpretation
- WRITTEN SUBMISSION - write a compelling paper on a relevant topic in pedagogy with flair
- This is a public programme; we welcome teachers who are not from The Music Studios.
- 2-hour meetings are held on the last Friday of each month over 2021 from 8pm-10pm. Each meeting leaves participants with curated studies and assignments to be completed before the next meeting.
